A king had a clever jester – a favourite of the king's – made jokes about the courtiers – offended the king – condemned to death – bagged the king for mercy – allowed to choose the kind of death he would like to die –he said, “I choose, Your Majesty, to die of old age” – the king pleased – pardoned him.
